Our Youth/Young Adults Are Being Trained Today To Become Tomorrow's Leaders

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

BFC Youth/Young Adults

Meet The Young Peers of BFC

We believe that when the youth and young adults are heard and their trauma is addressed through services and programs such as ours, it starts a process of healing that will cause a decrease in violence, gang activities, school dropouts, and a drop in crime. This project will have not only an impact on the community but also a sustainable impact because it will create strong young new leaders for the future.

BFC serves vulnerable youths and young adults in underserved communities who are exposed to poverty, violence, abuse, fear, and distrust of accessing government programs. Individuals who are at risk of falling prey to the justice system. Teens most at risk for severe behavioral problems are typically those who lack a stable support system at home. In addition, teens living in dysfunctional families (drug abusers, serial criminal, gang members) or in households at or below the poverty level are also at a greater risk for mental, physical, and behavioral issues.
