Welcome to Checkmate
Certainly! Chess, often referred to as the “game of kings,” is a timeless classic that transcends mere entertainment. It is a profound mental exercise, a strategic battleground where minds clash and ideas converge. Beyond the sixty-four squares lies a realm of possibilities, where every move carries weight and every decision shapes the course of the game. But more than just a game, chess mirrors life itself, offering invaluable lessons and insights that extend far beyond the board.

Checkmate is a program that not only teaches individuals how to play chess, but how to apply the rules of chess to everyday life's decision-making process. Chess is the oldest board game in the world which depict two opponents fighting a war with the objective of capturing the enemies' king. Chess is known as one of the best strategy board games to play making it a perfect tool in teaching individuals to think before making the decision to act. Because in chess the wrong decision and move can cost you the game, where in life the wrong decision can cost you your life or your freedom.
Our Checkmate program will teach individuals not to act out on sudden inner impulses or inclinations when their decision could have a negative effect on family, community, and self.
